Today the framing crew worked on the dormers on the house and dormers over the garage. They also worked on siding at the east side of the house above the fireplace.One of the neighbors across the road from us stopped by this morning to check in on our progress. We have enjoyed sharing the day to day progress with the people in town who stop in. That is the fun part. Everyone who comes by has lots of nice compliments. They enjoy the big view from the upstairs balcony. We purchased four rocking chairs for the balcony a couple of weeks ago. We invite all to come back to enjoy the view from a rocking chair after the house is finished. No one has declined our invitation so far!

We would love to come and sit in a rocker.Maybe by the time the house is finished fuel will cost less and we can get back to Texas.We plan to leave here(Eagle Point)on June 30.Aunt Sunny is much better so we feel we can leave.We are going to,Pacific City then Bend OR.We'll stop at Dan's house in between.Maybe we will stay in Coburg OR,in Dan's old house for a while.
